‘Moonlight’
The tall dark slender shadows
The contrast between deep and shallow
Chirping crickets, death’s silence
Remind me that never shall I be in your presence
Maybe in the afterlife……
‘Starlight’
The tiny little silverlings that line the sky
The breeze on clear nights, the air so dry
The depth, the distance between
Is our past, present and future in one dream.
But maybe one day…….
‘Sunlight’
Bright and yet so simple
Blue skies, a scene so humble
Nature, the confusion within.
You and I, the space in-between
So maybe NEVER.

welcome, solomon, your poetry is beautiful. never let those who see you as an outsider make you feel that it is true, you are a good person it’s clear, and because you look different, they feel it somehow you are somehow different. in reality they are the ones who are the outsiders, living outside of their own hearts, and they are living and acting badly out of fear.
